Junior IT

Main responsibilities

  • Provides support to end users for computer, application, system, device, access and hardware issues.
  • Identifies, researches and resolves technical problems of moderate complexity.
  • Responds to telephone, email and online requests for technical support.
  • Documents, tracks, and monitors the problem using applicable systems and tools.
  • Perform onsite analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex desktop problems for end users, and recommend and implement corrective solutions, including offsite repair for remote users as needed.
  • Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end-user workstations and related hardware and software in order to deliver required desktop service levels.
  • Assess the need for and implement performance upgrades to PC boxes, including the installation of CPUs, I/O and NIC cards, hard disks, hard drives, RAM, memory chips, CDROMs, and so on.
  • Answer to and perform moves, adds, and changes requests as they are submitted by line managers.
  • Ensure that physical desktop connections (i.e. RJ-45 Ethernet jacks, RJ-11 telephone modem jacks, connectors between PCs and servers, etc.) are in proper working order.
  • Assist in preparing, maintaining, and upholding procedures for logging, reporting, and statistically monitoring desktop operations.
  • Ensure that proper Asset Management takes place for all deployed it equipment.

Minimum requirements

Formal Education & Certification

  •  IT Degree (Completed)
  • A+ (will be an advantage)
  • N+ and Security + (will be an advantage)

Knowledge & Experience

  • Graduate (courses that provide IT knowledge).
  • One to two years of experience an advantage
  • Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining all manners of desktop hardware, software and associated network equipment.

  • Teamwork – the role requires that the individual will be able to work within a team and be jointly accountable in achieving the overall production targets.
  • Highly disciplined and Proactive – the role requires a self-starter who does not need to be told what to do. This person should always be busy using data to drive meaningful action that results in increased productivity and better overall results.
  • Highly Accurate – requires a high level of accuracy relating to the provision of information as well as the capturing of data.
  • Calm under pressure – the role requires the ability to maintain stable performance under heavy pressure or stress.

Main responsibilities

  • Learn to develop, implement, and manage digital marketing campaigns across various channels including SEO/SEM, email, social media, and display advertising.
  • Measure and report on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).
